About

’m a 3d environment artist : modelling , texturing , rendering.

For game envs, animation, architecture and documentaries.

I model and texture all kinds of hard surface/environment models : vehicles, mechanical, with a passion for anything sci-fi , especially retro-future designs, but also reconstructions of historical architecture.

I’ve recently been working on project Mango-Tears of Steel at the Blender Institute. (environment models and textures , mainly for the dome environment)

I’ve studied architecture (bachelor degree) and worked in architectural visualization for 3 years (mostly previz and cad for shop redesigns ). Then, 3 years as game environment artist, modelling/texturing/lighting for pc, consoles and iphone, using Vicious Engine (Galactic Bowling pc/wii) and Gamebryo (Top hand Rodeo ps3) .

Blender has been my main tool for 3 years now along with Gimp , on Ubuntu Linux. I immediately found Blender and OSS very alike to my approach and work method.

I’ve always worked in small teams or freelance, so i’m used to improvise in many areas (animation , simulation and a bit of python for small automations / batch scripts )

In the last years i dedicated most of my learning time to texture paint and shading, lighting is a personal passion too, i’ve worked with all raytracers for Blender, including VrayBlender and Cycles.
